My general thoughts and reaction to Episode 7 of The Wheel of Time tv series on Amazon Prime

The Wheel of Time series has arrived on Amazon Prime. These are my general (spoiler-free) reactions to the latest episode:

EPISODE 7: THE DARK ALONG THE WAYS

Perhaps it was the “break” in the main plot for the previous two episodes that set me back a little. It felt like we were getting sidetracked. Maybe that is a part of why I was starting to feel down about the show. This episode, however, has raised my excitement again. There was much that I enjoyed, and a bunch of questions that have yet to be answered. I am still a little mad about one change from the last episode that was never really satisfied in this episode. Despite that, the events that happened in this episode (a favorite character from the book making an appearance, a favorite minor character also making an appearance, and some of the reveals and flashbacks) all got my blood pumping for this show again. One more week!

BONUS: (No Origin…)

As of the time of me writing this, there was no Origin available in the XRAY feature along with this episode. There was a BTS video regarding the weapons and props. It was interesting to view. A good look at what goes into the process of production.

My spirits for the show are back and I am excited for the finale next week. I look forward to what is to come as we wrap up this season.
